As a project for Veterans' day, the children of Berwick and District School, in Nova Scotia, did a story on Gander, the heroic Newfoundland dog (see Dickin award). Because Marcarpents Rimshot was used as a stand-in for Gander, the children sent Nina letters and posters depicting the story of Gander's heroism. Every month we posted two of the posters.
